Electric Scooters exists to make one decision easier: which electric scooter is genuinely right for the way you move through your city. The market is crowded with near-identical spec sheets and inflated claims, so we translate raw numbers — motor output, battery capacity, real-world range, braking, weight — into plain language a commuter can act on.

Every model we publish is assessed on the same criteria: range under realistic load, hill performance, braking and tyre setup, build quality, portability, and the price you actually pay. We compare manufacturer claims against owner reports and independent measurements, and we say clearly when a figure is optimistic.

When a scooter is not a good buy, we leave it out or explain why. We would rather publish a short list we trust than a long list padded for search traffic.

The site is free to read. We fund it through affiliate commissions on links to verified partner stores and through advertising. Neither affects our verdicts: no manufacturer pays for placement, ranking or a favourable review, and we do not accept sponsored copy disguised as editorial.

The site is produced by a small team of daily scooter commuters and mobility enthusiasts who have ridden through wet winters, cracked pavement and long crosstown runs. That perspective is why we weight things like tyre type and brake feel as heavily as top speed.
